Open Source Initiative

Open Source Initiative or OSI is a corporation meant to bring computer software with a non-profitable mission. They create text editors or calculation software which is distributed for free and which anyone can download easily. The programs developed by OSI are excellent since they cost no money and can be used fro many things and with a pretty nice final outcome. It is a world wide organization that promotes, in each country, the idea of a free technological educational system that can actually be applied. It encourages people to use their programs by making them free, but also because they are easy to use, very practical (since you can download them anywhere), and open to any operative system. In conclusion these programs currently runned by the OSI are extremely good and should be considered as a posibility for computer working

Open Office

Open Office is a 100% free open source program. It has the same features as, for example, Microsoft Word or Microsoft Powerpoint. You can edit texts with it and save it as almost any posible universal format you can think about, you can even save it as a webpage document. Apart from saving into formats you can also export it as, for example, a PDF (Portable Document Format). Another very good feature is that Open Office comes with a complete package which includes a text editor (Writer), a presentation designer (Impress), a spread sheet for calculation (Calc) and a drawing pad (Draw). These all and some others are surprinsingle good and can even compete with Microsft's creations even though there might be some slight differences in final touch options and design items.

My Summer Holidays 2011

This summer I have really had a nicetime.
I have visited many places of the world this including
parts of France and a whole lot of Spain. Exactly two days after finishing school I escaped to the Balear Islands precisly to a cute little island called Menorca. There I spent all of the month of June having a great time going to the beach, renting a boat, windsurfing and having lots of fun with a bumpy old donut I had since 2005.
Not long afterwards I left to Les Deux Alpes located next to the border line of France with Switzerland and Italy. I spent ten daysthere having a great time and geting up at 5 a.m. to ski until 1 p.m., but it really was great. After those ten amazing days I returned to Spain only to find out that I had to leave, one daylater, to Biarritz.
In Biarritz I had
a great time learning lots of french and meeting many different people from different places andwith different cultures. I also had my first surf lessons in La Côte des Basques A couple of great weeks later I had to leave the amazing city of Biarritz
and go on about away to Menorca. There I spent the restof the summer until the singlelast week when I came back and visited my grandmother in Laredo, there I spent some time with Javier Hernandez until thebeginning of school.
